Lead & Scale Multiple Sales Teams Inside One of the UK’s Fastest-Growing Education Companies

Trade Mastermind is the UK’s leading business education and coaching group for the construction industry. Founded by BBC Apprentice Winner Joseph Valente, we’ve trained more than 5,000 trade business owners, who on average achieve 370% growth in their first year with us.

In 2026, we open the 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University Headquarters the first dedicated university for trades with a 300-person event arena, a high-end podcast studio, and Cambridgeshire's first business with a rooftop bar.

We are now hiring a high-performance Head of Sales to lead, grow, and structure the entire B2B sales department as the company scales from £10M to £100M+.

The Role

This is a true senior commercial leadership role.

You will take ownership of multiple existing sales teams, and you will also be responsible for building new teams from scratch, including hiring BDMs, setting KPIs, installing sales systems, and developing Sales Managers who will eventually run those teams beneath you.

You will :

  • Lead and scale multiple BDM teams across several product lines (Academy, Discovery Days, Boardroom, 3-Year Contracts).
  • Build new sales teams and architect team structures that can scale nationally.
  • Recruit, train, and develop future Sales Managers, creating a leadership layer under you.
  • Own £6M–£10M+ annual revenue responsibility across all pods.
  • Work with RevOps to enhance scripts, automations, pipelines, and reporting.
  • Partner directly with CEO Joseph Valente to drive the company’s commercial strategy and expansion roadmap.

This is not a single-team Sales Manager role this is Head of Sales, with full departmental responsibility.

Team Performance Snapshot (Example of One Pod)

Note : You will manage multiple pods, plus build new ones.

4 sales per BDM × £18,000 AOV = £72,000 revenue per rep per month

4 reps = £288,000 per month

Equivalent to an annual team target of £3.45 million+

Your total remit will exceed this as new teams are added underneath you.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, inspire, and manage multiple high-performance BDM teams.
  • Build new sales teams to support scale, hiring and onboarding all new BDMs.
  • Install and develop Sales Managers to run pods independently.
  • Run daily pipeline reviews, live coaching, and KPI management.
  • Oversee forecasting, conversion optimisation, deal value uplift, and cash collection.
  • Implement world-class sales processes, scripts, and performance systems.
  • Support product launches, high-ticket events, and national sales activations.
  • Directly execute the wider commercial plan with the CEO.

Who You Are
  • Proven Head of Sales, Senior Sales Manager, or Multi-Team Sales Leader
  • Experience leading multiple teams or pods (not just one team)
  • Ability to build new teams and develop Sales Managers beneath you
  • Track record of managing £3M–£10M+ annual team revenue
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and high-performance management skills
  • Data-driven : forecasting, CRM, dashboards, conversion metrics
  • Experience in high-ticket B2B, education, consultancy, or construction sectors (preferred)
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-growth scale-up environment
