Head of Sales - CNC/Manufacturing
We are a rapidly growing company looking for an ambitious Sales department Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a hunter mentality, who thrives on building new business and managing sales from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads and maintain a strong sales pipeline (60% new business focus).
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and build tailored proposals and quotations.
- Document all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions accurately.
- Attend trade shows and close deals.
- Manage the team, department and all elements of the sales process, sharing knowledge and mentoring junior staff.
- Operate with autonomy – your day is dictated by what drives results, whether on the road or onsite.
Experience / Skills / Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development.
- CNC experience is essential.
- 5-6 years of relevant experience; looking for someone ambitious and eager to grow with the company.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Must be commutable to Milton Keynes.
