Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager Ride & Show Mechanical Engineer to lead technical management for attractions, ensuring safety and high‑quality deliverables. You will drive design, production, installation, and acceptance testing of ride and show systems to meet Universal specifications and project goals.

The role involves coordinating with vendors and cross‑functional teams to manage scope, risk, and schedule, while upholding rigorous safety standards across multiple attractions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent demonstrated skill and experience.
• Advanced Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management, including budget and schedule, for an attraction or attractions.
• Specify, bid/award, design, produce, install and test ride/show systems to mechanical standards.
• Oversee safety and enforcement of Universal Specifications across Show & Ride systems.
• Manage vendors, contracts and day‑to‑day installation, test and adjust activities in the field.
• Coordinate with facility, construction teams and vendors to ensure clear communication and timely deliverables.
