A leading educational institution is seeking a Head of Recruitment in Birmingham, responsible for shaping recruitment strategies across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess in-house recruitment experience and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusivity. This role includes overseeing recruitment processes, developing policies, and managing a team. A Chartered Member of the CIPD or equivalent experience is essential. The position offers a hybrid working environment.
The full-time starting salary is normally 62364.00 per annum with progression available in post to 70564.00 per annum.

Grade : IBirmingham City University is seeking a Head of Recruitment to shape and deliver all recruitment and selection activity across the institution supporting to delivery of the priorities outlined in the Universitys ambitious and future-focussed Strategic Plan.
Leading on all recruitment and selection matters across the organisation the post holder will work collaboratively to develop policy systems and processes and innovative practice that ensure the University is well positioned to recruit and retain the highest quality talent in a competitive market. Working closely with the Equality Diversity and Inclusion Team the Head of Recruitment will ensure that these values are clear and visible in all that we do ensuring that our University is truly representative of the student body and communities we serve in our home city.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources the Head of Recruitment oversees a team of Talent Acquisition Partners to engage directly with the market and support dedicated business areas across the organisation. Additionally the role line manages the Recruitment Partners in supporting the internal recruitment environment by developing systems processes and governance. The Head of Recruitment ensures the establishment and implementation of robust and effective recruitment and resourcing practices that deliver a high-quality and cost-effective service.
This is a hybrid working role typically working three days per week on campus and based in the Joseph Priestley Building on the Universitys City Centre Campus.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
