Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a senior technical leader to drive real-time visualisation using Unreal Engine, shaping the technical direction and innovation roadmap for interactive visualisation, digital twins, VR and immersive experiences.

You will bridge technical development and visualisation, mentor the team, and advance adoption of emerging technologies while ensuring high-quality, scalable delivery across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing real-time applications in Unreal Engine (UE5 preferred).
• Advanced Blueprint development, gameplay systems and interaction framework expertise.
• Strong understanding of Unreal Engine architecture, with working knowledge of C++ development.
• Proven leadership of technical teams and capability development.
• Strong mentoring, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the real-time visualisation strategy across Creative Design.
• Establish technical standards, best practices and scalable workflows.
• Lead Unreal Engine development for interactive, immersive and digital twin solutions.
• Mentor team members and build technical capability.
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Support project scoping, planning and technical planning.
• Collaborate across design, development and project teams.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex projects.
