Job summary

Ceres Power Holdings Plc in the United Kingdom seeks a Head of Quality to lead the company-wide Quality Management System, spanning R&D, labs, pilot and high-volume manufacturing. Qualifications

• Several years of quality leadership within chemical processing, advanced materials, ceramics, coatings, inks or related process-manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record leading multi-disciplinary quality teams across quality systems, laboratory/analytical, supplier and manufacturing quality.
• Strong understanding of chemical/materials manufacturing, raw-material variability, scale-up, and product release.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continual improvement of the company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Ensure raw materials, chemical formulations and finished products meet defined requirements, with supplier quality and process capability emphasis.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), technology transfer and manufacturing scale-up with clear specifications, control plans and release criteria.
• Champion quality metrics, CAPA, non-conformance handling, change and deviation management, and data-driven problem solving.
• Develop capability in root-cause analysis, SPC and risk assessment across quality and manufacturing functions.
