Job description

An outstanding opportunity has become available to become the Head of Projects at a globally recognised Energy Engineering Company based in Aberdeen. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are managed and delivered to the highest standards. You must have demonstrable experience managing Oil and Gas engineering/ construction projects (ideally with permanent mooring).

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role in developing the company's capabilities.
• Promote and adhere to the values of management responsibilities and leadership.
• Manage personnel, 3rd parties and functional interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with Client contractual requirements.
• Serve as lead facilitator both internally and externally for permanent mooring development projects.
• Maintain awareness of, and control exposure to, all technical and commercial risks.
• Provide reports and management information to senior management and clients.
• Deliver leadership and support when required.
• Ensure service delivery within budget and on time.
• Negotiate with clients regarding project specifications.
• Manage any contractual issues.
• Oversee financial aspects such as target revenue delivery, budget/ costs/ cash flow, profitability, financial report input and overheads.
• Carry out business development where required i.e. engage in business development activities, liaise with Business Development Manager, prepare business plans/ strategies.

Required
