Head of Procurement

An established global leader in high-quality fit‑out, bespoke joinery, and interior solutions across the marine, themed attraction, high‑end retail, and hospitality sectors is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to drive strategic sourcing, efficiency, and value across all purchasing activities.

The Role

As Head of Procurement, you'll lead the procurement function, shaping and executing strategies that align with business growth and operational excellence. This is a key leadership position for a commercially minded professional ready to make a measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to ensure effective delivery across all projects.
  • Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management to achieve cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring performance and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project success, budgets, and timelines.
  • Promote sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.
  • Manage ERP and procurement systems, ensuring accurate records and reporting.
About You
  • 5+ years' senior‑level procurement or supply‑chain management experience, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Proven success in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and cost optimisation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/procurement systems.
  • Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (CIPS desirable).
