We are pleased to be partnering with a leading regional contractor to appoint an accomplished professional to lead their Preconstruction Department.

This business has demonstrated sustained year-on-year growth over the past five years and continues to build upon its success with a robust forward pipeline, long-term frameworks, and a well-defined strategy for continued expansion.

Their reputation for delivering high-quality building projects and maintaining long-standing client relationships has positioned them as a trusted partner across the region.

As Head of Preconstruction, you will provide strategic leadership to an established and capable team comprising of Estimators, Bid Managers, and Design Managers.

You will bring structure, process, and commercial acumen to all preconstruction activities, ensuring that opportunities are fully realised and risks are effectively managed at the earliest stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the preconstruction team to deliver excellence across all tenders and bids.
  • Oversee and refine preconstruction processes, ensuring consistency and best practice.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, frameworks, and strategic tenders.
  • Provide oversight and scrutiny at PQQ and tender stages, balancing opportunity and risk.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and operations teams to ensure alignment between design, cost, and delivery objectives.
  • Champion innovation and quality through the design management and bid process.
