Job summary

Doocey Group in Tipton, West Midlands, is seeking a Head of HR to shape the People Strategy and lead a multi-site HR function across circa 300 employees. You will set the leadership agenda, develop policies, and ensure compliance and high performance.

Reporting to Directors, you will drive talent acquisition, learning & development, and employee engagement, while building manager capability and organisational design to support growth.

Qualifications

• Proven senior HR leadership in fast-growing org.
• Successful People Strategy development and delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of UK employment law and ER.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary HR teams.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the Group People Strategy aligned to growth.
• Provide strategic HR leadership across all Group businesses and locations.
• Lead HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reception and Admin.
• Coach managers to strengthen leadership capability and accountability.
• Oversee employee relations matters including disciplinaries and grievances.
• Drive a high-performance culture with PM, engagement and improvement initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning, succession and talent management activities.
• Oversee recruitment and employer branding strategies.
