Job summary

Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service in Maidenhead seeks an inspirational Director of Care to provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across medical, clinical and holistic care services.

You will report to the CEO and work with the Board of Trustees to ensure high quality, safe, compassionate care for children and families, with overall responsibility for governance, quality and performance.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a Children's or Adult Nurse.
• Significant leadership experience in paediatric care.
• Experience with clinical governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership across all care services.
• Oversee medical, clinical and holistic care performance.
• Lead strategic development of care provision and commissioning relationships.
• Ensure services meet CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Drive quality improvement and innovations in care.
