A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Head of Organisational Development and EDI. This 12-month fixed-term position focuses on driving cultural transformation and ensuring workforce diversity within the Trust. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in organisational development and a passion for equality and inclusion. The role allows for hybrid working across sites.
Are you passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered? At Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to join us as Head of Organisational Development and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (OD & EDI) on an interim basis for 12 months. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact. You will be the Trust's advocate and expert on equality, diversity and inclusion—shaping strategies that drive cultural transformation and ensure our workforce reflects the communities we serve.
In this pivotal role, you’ll influence policy at the highest level, oversee statutory reporting requirements such as WRES, WDES, and EDS2, and translate complex data into actionable insights that deliver meaningful change. You’ll also build capability across all leadership tiers, ensuring EDI principles are at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for someone with proven experience in organisational development and EDI within a complex setting—ideally the NHS—combined with exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. You’ll bring a strong understanding of equality legislation, a track record of driving cultural change, and the ability to inspire others through collaboration and innovation.
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability confident employer and has been awarded the Gold for the Armed Forces Employment Recognition Scheme. At Frimley Health we value a healthy work‑life balance and encourage applications from people who wish to work flexibly, recognising that flexibility may mean a range of working patterns and hours. We aim to work with staff to meet their needs and those of our service users.
Hybrid working is supported, but you’ll need to be present across our sites and within the Integrated Care System to deliver this role effectively.
