Job summary

Luton Sixth Form College is recruiting for a Head of Operations, Compliance, Health & Safety. The role provides strategic and operational leadership across Estates, Compliance, Health & Safety, Projects and Operational Support to support 3,200 students and staff.

The post requires significant leadership experience, strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, and a NEBOSH Certificate. It involves 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with some on-call time and flexible hours as needed to ensure safe

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within Estates, Facilities, Compliance or Operational Services.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• NEBOSH Certificate required; experience in education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the College's Estates, Compliance, Health & Safety and Operational Support functions.
• Develop and deliver long-term estates strategy, capital investment plans and sustainability objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership for statutory compliance, risk management, fire safety and business continuity.
