Job summary

LT Talent partners with an investment-backed, founder-led wellness start-up seeking a Head of Operations to partner with the Founder and own the core operations, from process design to smarter automation.

You will drive strategic projects, oversee supply chain, inventory and fulfilment, lead NPD and product launches, and build an agile operations team as the business scales. This role requires hands-on leadership in seed-stage to scale-up environments and a strong commercial mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in seed-stage or scale-up environments.
• Direct exposure to Founder/CEO.
• Built processes and operational infrastructure from scratch.
• Broad operational remit beyond supply chain.
• Strong commercial judgement.
• Hands-on with automation or AI/workflow improvement.
• Consumer product experience (wellness, beauty, FMCG).
• Experience across DTC and retail.
• Supply chain, inventory, 3PL and fulfilment knowledge.
• NPD/product-launch exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the wider operations function.
• Work with the Founder on strategic, commercial and special projects.
• Build scalable processes and infrastructure as the company grows.
• Champion automation and AI across the business, reducing manual work wherever possible.
• Oversee supply chain, inventory, demand planning, 3PL and fulfilment.
• Support growth across DTC, retail, B2B and Amazon.
• Lead operational delivery of NPD and product launches.
• Manage and develop supplier, manufacturer and 3PL relationships.
• Own operational KPIs and provide clear commercial insight.
• Work alongside Finance on budgets, forecasting, margin, COGS and working capital.
• Build and develop the operations team.
• Pick up new, unplanned and chaotic projects that come with scaling a founder-led business.

We’ve partnered exclusively with an investment-backed, founder-led wellness start-up entering its next stage of growth.

They’re looking for a Head of Operations to become a genuine strategic and operational partner to the Founder.

This is much broader than supply chain - you’ll own the core operation, build better processes, support commercial projects, launch new products and champion smarter automation across the business.

What we’re looking for

We’re particularly interested in people who have already operated as a Head of Operations, Senior Operations Lead or similar within a start-up or scale-up environment.

What you’ll get involved in

• Build scalable processes and infrastructure as the company grows
• Champion automation and AI across the business, reducing manual work wherever possible

• Pick up the new, unplanned and occasionally slightly chaotic projects that naturally come with scaling a founder-led business

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience within a seed-stage or later start-up / scale-up
• Worked directly with a Founder or CEO
• Built processes and operational infrastructure from scratch
• A broad operational remit rather than purely supply chain
• Strong commercial judgement
• Hands-on experience with automation, AI or workflow improvement
• Consumer product experience - ideally wellness, beauty, supplements or FMCG
• Experience across DTC and retail
• Supply chain, inventory, 3PL and fulfilment knowledge
• NPD / product-launch exposure
