Position: Head of Operations – Dental Beauty Partners

Location: Hybrid – Mondays at our Support Centre in Croydon & practice visits

Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer

We are excited to be opening a search for a Head of Operations to join our growing senior operational leadership team. This role will report into our Chief Operating Officer, and hold the responsibility of executing the company’s operational strategy in alignment with our overall business objectives.

Job Purpose

Reporting to the COO, you will be a key member of our operations team, with responsibility for developing and leading the team, executing the company’s operational strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and ensuring it is aligned with the wider business vision.

You will hold responsibility for implementing and leading operational plans to support the business growth & deliver our annual budgets. This role will play an integral role in driving operational efficiencies & fostering new innovations. A key focus of the role is to deliver the operational plans and projects, whilst developing the team and building rapport with key stakeholders both internally & externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all operational matters
  • Operational Team Management - Build, lead and motivate a high performing team of operational professionals
  • Identify and implement processes to improve efficiency and enhance productivity
  • Financial management: manage and deliver operational budget
  • Track performance KPI’s, creating plans to support improvement
  • Collaboration and communication: effectively communicate with cross functional teams
  • Partnership management: develop and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders – internal and external
  • Compliance and risk management – ensure compliance, with relevant regulations, mitigating operational risks and ensuring a safe and ethical work environment
Candidate Requirements

Academic & Employment:

  • Minimum 10 years+ relevant work experience in similar role and/or scope of responsibility
  • Proven experience as a Head of Operations or similar role is essential for this position
  • Experience in Dentistry is highly advantageous for this opportunity
  • Bachelor’s degree/MBA is desirable for this role

Characteristics, Personality & Experience:

  • Experience in a fast paced, high change and growing organisation is essential
  • Full driving licence is essential for regular travel to practices, and you must be able to commit to weekly visits to our Support Centre in Croydon on Mondays
  • Outstanding financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial reports, develop budgets, and drive revenue growth
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams toward achieving operational excellence
  • Proficient in using management software and technology to optimize clinic operations and performance
  • A strategic thinker with a track record of implementing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and manage competing priorities
  • A Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results driven, high-demand environment
  • A passion for innovation & continuous improvement
