Are you a strategic and hands‑on leader with a passion for operational excellence? We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Head of UK Operations to oversee their manufacturing activities across multiple UK sites.

This is a senior leadership role where you will drive performance, maintain high safety standards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the business's success and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all UK manufacturing operations across multiple sites.
  • Foster a strong safety culture, working closely with the SHEQ team.
  • Drive operational efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Mentor and develop senior management teams (5 direct reports, c.50 indirect).
  • Ensure operations are fully aligned with company strategy.
  • Oversee performance management and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with procurement, technical, and finance departments.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision‑making.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior manufacturing leadership role.
  • Background in electronics, automotive, or similar technical manufactured products preferred.
  • Track record of managing multi‑site operations.
  • Degree in Business Management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Experience in EHS/SHEQ (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent preferred).
  • Excellent communication, performance management, and process improvement skills.
