Job summary

The Talent Edit Group seeks a Senior NPD leader to shape a science-led skincare brand's future. You will partner with the founders to define strategy, manage complex roadmaps, and ensure launches meet quality and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in senior NPD roles within science-led or luxury skincare, with a strong background in marketing, chemistry or related fields. A master’s degree is welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, chemistry or related field; a master’s degree would be welcome.

Responsibilities

• Shape the NPD and EPD strategy with the founders.
• Build and manage detailed project timelines and critical paths to land milestones and launches on time.
• Lead costing and financial analysis for each product, from BOM to supplier quotes.
• Protect target margins on every launch.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Report status, risks and decisions to the leadership team.

Job description

This is a senior NPD role with a science-led skincare brand that holds genuine strategic weight: you set the direction, run the pipeline and answer for every launch. For someone who has led skincare development at the highest level, it is a chance to shape the brand’s future product story from the inside.

Your New Role

• Working with the founders to shape the NPD and EPD strategy
• Building and managing detailed project timelines and critical paths, so every milestone and launch date lands on time
• Leading costing and financial analysis for each product, from building the bill of materials to validating supplier quotes
• Protecting target margins on every launch
• Coordinating with contract manufacturers so components, fill and assembly meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Reporting status, risks and decisions to the leadership team

Your Talents

You bring at least seven years in senior or head of NPD roles, with strong skincare development experience at the heart of it. Your background lies in science-led, clinical or luxury skincare and beauty brands, so you understand how rigour and desirability work together. You are equally at home building a critical path, interrogating a bill of materials or shaping strategy with a founder. You hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, chemistry or a related field, and a master’s degree would be a welcome addition.
