Job description

You will lead a team of Network, Infrastructure, and DevOps Engineers responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated on-premise systems deployed directly into customer environments. The role includes ownership of high- and low-level architecture, requirements clarification, and the evolution of both customer-facing systems and internal development, testing, and staging environments. What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for the Network & Infrastructure team.
  • Produce high-quality, detailed high-level system designs, considering field conditions, civil works, and existing technologies.
  • Define and refine technical requirements in collaboration with Sales and Project Management.
  • Develop the strategic roadmap for network and infrastructure evolution, ensuring system reliability and resilience for mission-critical products.
  • Oversee the strategy and operation of internal development and testing environments to ensure reliability, flexibility, and appropriate capacity.
  • Ensure all internal environments remain fully functional and meet business needs.
Qualifications
  • Extensive technical expertise with at least 15 years in IT and 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing secure, resilient distributed IP networks.
  • Proven capability in building IT infrastructure solutions, including virtualisation and containerisation.
  • Ability to lead technical teams and produce high-quality documentation and architectural diagrams.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and presentations.
