Legal & General Group is seeking an experienced product leader to shape and guide multi-asset class solutions. You will oversee development, management, and client-focused products across public markets, collaborating with investment teams, distribution channels and partners.

This leadership role combines deep technical knowledge with commercial judgement, and requires inclusive people leadership to deliver sustainable growth and positive client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in product strategy and lifecycle in international asset management.
• Strong knowledge of multi-asset products and funds across UCITS/ETFs/AIFs.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead the product development and management strategy for multi-asset class solutions.
• Design and deliver new products, strategies and propositions across investment vehicles.

• Oversee the full product lifecycle including launches, reviews, amendments, mergers and closures.
• Partner with Investments, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Operations to meet objectives.

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced product leader to shape and lead our multi-asset class solutions product strategy. You’ll oversee the development and ongoing management of client-focused products that invest primarily across public markets, working with investment teams, distribution channels and specialist partners across the business.

This is an influential leadership opportunity where you’ll develop market-leading propositions across a broad range of product structures and client segments. You’ll combine deep technical knowledge with commercial judgement, inclusive people leadership and a strong understanding of product governance to support sustainable growth and deliver positive outcomes for our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Creating and leading the product development and management strategy for multi-asset class solutions
• Leading the design and delivery of new products, strategies and propositions across a range of investment vehicles
• Managing, motivating and developing a global team while building an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing culture
• Overseeing the full product lifecycle, including launches, reviews, amendments, mergers and closures
• Partnering with Investments, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance and Operations to deliver commercial and client objectives
• Ensuring products and activities meet relevant regulatory, governance, risk and Consumer Duty requirements
• Providing technical leadership on product positioning, pricing, regulation, tax, distribution channels and operational matters
• Building trusted relationships with senior leaders, governance committees, boards, strategic partners and industry groups

Who we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience of product strategy, development and lifecycle management within the international asset management industry
• Strong technical knowledge of products across multiple asset classes, with experience developing solutions for clients across areas such as defined benefit, defined contribution, institutional, insurance, OCIO and wealth
• A deep understanding of investment product structures, which may include UCITS, non-UCITS, ETFs, AIFs, separately managed accounts, model portfolios and unit-linked insurance products
• Experience launching, registering, operating and amending pooled investment funds across different jurisdictions
• Inclusive leadership and line management experience, with a track record of developing and empowering teams across locations
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence engaging with senior leaders, boards, suppliers and strategic partners
• Commercial judgement, project leadership skills and the ability to manage complex priorities, risks and dependencies
• A degree or equivalent experience, with a relevant professional qualification such as the IMC, CFA or CAIA being advantageous
