Job summary

Eastern Multi-academy Trust is seeking a passionate Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who will also lead the MFL department at King's Lynn Academy. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, foster a positive learning environment and collaborate with staff, parents and the Trust to drive excellence.

As Head of MFL, you will develop the department, inspire students and colleagues, and lead high-quality teaching with a TL R allowance.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and QTS.
• French and/or German language specialist.
• The ability to offer Spanish is desirable.
• Proven strategies to support learning for all pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Creativity and flexibility in your teaching approach.
• Strong behaviour management skills that build mutual respect.
• A good understanding of curriculum developments within subject area.
• A willingness to embrace technology and new ways of working.
• A growth mindset and commitment to your own professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach and plan engaging, high-quality MFL lessons.
• Lead and develop a vibrant MFL department as Head of MFL.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the Trust to raise standards.
