About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Head of Maths to lead our highly regarded Maths Department at a prestigious independent school. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Maths Department across KS3 to KS5, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire a passion for mathematics.
• Develop and implement curriculum improvements that enhance student learning and reflect current best practices in teaching and learning.
• Provide strong leadership and support to the department’s teaching staff, offering guidance and fostering a collaborative approach to lesson planning, resources, and departmental initiatives.
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide constructive feedback to help all students achieve their best potential in maths.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop confidence in their mathematical abilities, ensuring each student’s academic and personal growth.
