Job summary

Silverstone UTC in the heart of British Motorsport seeks an experienced strategic leader to head the Maths department and drive whole-school data initiatives.

You will develop the curriculum, oversee assessment and reporting, and work with senior leaders, staff, and parents to raise pupil attainment while upholding safeguarding and school values.

The post requires a maths degree, PGCE or equivalent, and a proven record of improving KS4/KS5 outcomes and data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in maths or a maths-based subject.
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Evidence of securing good outcomes at KS4/KS5.
• Experience with data analysis and MIS or data systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Maths curriculum and standards.
• Line manage maths teaching staff and support planning.
• Oversee data reporting and pupil attainment analysis.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and parents on data use.
• Ensure safeguarding and high standards.
