About the Role

In this senior leadership position, you'll be responsible for shaping and executing the marketing vision for two major national B2B events. You'll define the brand voice, build audience engagement, and oversee all campaign activity — from digital and social to partnerships, PR, and content. Working closely with commercial and operational teams, you'll ensure every campaign connects with the right audiences and drives measurable results. You'll also lead and inspire a skilled team of marketers, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Key areas of responsibility
  • Lead strategic planning and delivery of multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
  • Build, manage, and grow key audiences across both live and digital channels.
  • Oversee brand messaging, ensuring consistency and market impact.
  • Use performance data to guide decisions, optimise campaigns, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Manage marketing budgets effectively and creatively.
  • Introduce fresh tools, techniques, and technologies — including AI‑led approaches — to elevate campaigns.
  • Coach and develop a talented team of marketing professionals.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless delivery of sponsorship, content, and visitor campaigns.
About You

You're a confident and creative marketing leader with a proven background in large‑scale B2B events, exhibitions, or conferences. You know how to unite data and creativity to deliver campaigns that engage, convert, and grow audiences.

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in event or exhibition marketing.
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing activity to sales performance.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing, CRM automation, and customer segmentation.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading and motivating a high‑performing team.
  • The drive to innovate, adapt, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
What's on Offer

This company offers a culture that is ambitious, creative, and supportive in equal measure. You'll have the freedom to shape campaigns, introduce new ideas, and make a genuine impact on major industry events.

  • £60,000 + Benefits
  • Private healthcare and enhanced parental leave
  • 25 days annual leave + your birthday off (with cake and a gift!)
  • Generous pension scheme
  • Regular social events, team celebrations, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities
