HEAD OF MARKETING – EMILIA WICKSTEAD
The Head of Marketing role will lead the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of all marketing initiatives for Emilia Wickstead across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and bridal. This role is central to driving brand desirability, client engagement, and commercial growth through considered, creative, and effective 360° marketing campaigns and activations.
A key member of the senior leadership team, the Head of Marketing will shape the brand’s global marketing strategy — balancing long-term vision with daily execution. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: the successful candidate will set the direction for the department, while also taking a proactive approach to campaign delivery, content creation, and partnership execution.
An exceptional storyteller and brand guardian, the Head of Marketing will ensure the Emilia Wickstead voice, values, and aesthetic are consistently represented across all touchpoints.
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the global marketing and communications strategy, aligning with Emilia Wickstead’s business ambitions across RTW, Bridal, and Bespoke.
- Translate strategic goals into actionable, measurable marketing plans that strengthen brand equity and deliver commercial results.
- Work closely with senior leadership — including the Creative Director and Commercial Director — to ensure all marketing activity supports product, seasonal, and regional priorities.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement across all marketing touchpoints — from digital storytelling to experiential activations.
Campaign Management
- Lead the planning and execution of seasonal 360° campaigns across digital, retail, wholesale, and PR channels.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing calendar, mapping key commercial moments, launches, and storytelling opportunities.
- Oversee creative campaign production — from photoshoots and talent booking to asset delivery to all teams and external partners— ensuring brand alignment and excellence.
- Collaborate with internal teams on weekly trading focus to deliver cohesive, cross-channel stories that enhance client experience and drive conversion.
- Approve day-to-day marketing deliverables including emails, social content, digital advertising, and retail marketing collateral.
Brand & Community Building
- Grow the Emilia Wickstead community through thoughtful storytelling, influencer partnerships, and digital activations that build long-term brand affinity.
- Oversee content creation and social media strategy in collaboration with external agencies and internal teams, ensuring all output reflects the Emilia Wickstead tone of voice and aesthetic.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Head of VIP & Media Relations to amplify earned media, press exposure, and celebrity dressing opportunities.
- Lead the execution of key brand moments such as London Fashion Week and bridal activations, ensuring integrated storytelling and commercial impact.
Trade & Retail Marketing
- Drive marketing initiatives to support retail traffic, clienteling, and event activations, working closely with Store and VIC teams.
- Partner with wholesale teams to deliver impactful co-op campaigns and maximise visibility with global retail partners.
- Identify and deliver cross-channel collaborations and partnerships that enhance brand positioning and generate revenue.
Budget & Performance
- Own the marketing budget, ensuring spend is allocated effectively to achieve maximum ROI.
- Track campaign performance, delivering regular reports and actionable insights to optimise future planning.
- Manage agency relationships, ensuring delivery against KPIs, reporting accuracy, and creative excellence.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative and creative culture.
- Ensure clear communication, accountability, and alignment across all marketing functions.
- Set and monitor departmental KPIs, ensuring consistent delivery of brand and business objectives.
Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience in leading marketing strategy within a luxury fashion or lifestyle brand.
- Strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution — comfortable leading from concept to completion.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with a refined understanding of brand tone and luxury client expectations.
- Highly organised with strong project management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
