Description
We’re looking for a dynamic and commercially confident Head of Marketing to lead the function day-to-day, inspire and grow our team, and deliver stand-out campaigns that drive revenue and build long-term brand equity across the KERB Group. As Head of Marketing, you’ll be responsible for turning strategy into action, leading a team of Marketing Managers and agencies to deliver best-in‑class, multi‑channel campaigns. You’ll combine creativity with commercial acumen, ensuring KERB’s voice is distinctive, its food halls and venues are full, and its social impact story is powerfully told.
You’ll be a natural leader who thrives in fast‑paced environments, confident presenting at senior level and decisive in your approach. This is a role for someone who can balance big‑picture brand vision with hands‑on execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, inspire and mentor the Marketing team, ensuring clear KPIs, accountability, and development.
- Manage agency partnerships effectively, ensuring efficiency and high performance.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results.
- Strategy & Planning:
- Translate the Group marketing strategy into effective campaigns across all venues, events, and projects.
- Partner with the Marketing Director on long‑term strategic planning, annual budgets, and quarterly objectives.
- Lead on developing and executing the marketing strategy for each business unit.
- Campaign Delivery & Channels:
- Drive fully integrated 360° campaigns that deliver measurable ROI.
- Oversee use of all marketing channels (digital, CRM, social, OOH, experiential, PR) to engage and grow audiences.
- Ensure a consistent and powerful brand identity across all touchpoints.
- Commercial & Data Focus:
- Set and monitor marketing budgets, optimising spend against performance.
- Continue to develop processes for robust reporting, insights, and recommendations.
- Monitor competitors and market trends, feeding insights into strategy.
- Cross‑Functional Impact:
- Work closely with Sales, Events, People and Operations teams to boost brand awareness and revenue.
- Provide senior‑level marketing expertise in interdepartmental meetings.
- Champion customer insights, ensuring KERB’s offers remain relevant and compelling.
What you’ll bring to KERB
- Proven experience as a Head of Marketing (2+ years), ideally within hospitality, leisure, or food & drink.
- Track record of delivering high‑performing 360° campaigns with measurable ROI.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent commercial and data acumen; comfortable managing budgets and making data‑led decisions.
- Strong communicator and presenter, able to influence at board level.
- Strong grasp of all marketing channels - digital, CRM, content, social, on‑site and OOH.
- Skilled project manager with the ability to juggle multiple complex initiatives at pace.
- Familiarity with marketing tools (WordPress, CRM/email platforms, paid digital channels).
- Design literacy (Canva/Figma/Adobe) a plus, but strategic direction is key.
