We have recently closed a seed funding round and are moving quickly to scale our business internationally and maximise our impact on the biodiversity and climate crises. As our first Marketing Hire, our Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in telling our story and enabling us to achieve the growth we need to have a massive impact on biodiversity, the climate and human health.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute Rhizocore's global marketing strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Establish clear KPIs and monitor marketing performance across all channels.
- Lead the company's marketing activities, engaging and deploying team members from across the business and building out Rhizocore's marketing function.
Brand & Communications
- Elevate Rhizocore's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
- Lead PR, media, and thought‑leadership initiatives to strengthen industry positioning.
- Oversee content creation (digital, print, video, and events) to effectively communicate our story in multiple geographies.
Growth & Demand Generation
- Design and implement campaigns that drive awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement.
- Partner with sales and product teams to support go‑to‑market strategies.
- Manage digital marketing channels, SEO, and analytics to optimise reach and conversion.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with partners, customers, and industry influencers to foster a strong network.
- Represent Rhizocore at conferences, trade shows, and external events.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align marketing with R&D, product, and operations.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior marketing roles, preferably in tech, biotech, or sustainability sectors.
- Expertise in B2B marketing, with previous experience in the forestry and natural asset management or similar sectors beneficial.
- Strong track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Expertise in digital marketing, brand development, and demand generation. With the experience to set and track the right metrics.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative, and mission‑driven environment, with experience in startups very beneficial.
- Experience scaling brands internationally, especially in the United States, would be beneficial.
