Job Title: Head of Major Gifts

Are you passionate about supporting a meaningful charity and providing the best experience for supporters? Do you have experience leading a major gifts team and securing significant donations?

Thames Hospice is seeking a Head of Major Gifts to help us achieve our ambitious fundraising goals over the next five years. Major Gifts are a vital income stream, and you will play a key role in shaping our strategy to grow income through strong relationships with major donors, trusts, and corporate partners.

In this role, you will inspire and lead your team to deliver the major gifts program, building high-level relationships with donors, trusts, and companies. You will develop strategic and operational plans, create compelling proposals and stories, and foster collaboration across the hospice to secure support. You will also expand your professional network within the sector for ongoing learning and development.

We seek candidates with proven experience in relationship fundraising, securing 5-6 figure gifts from individuals, trusts, and corporates, including multiyear and recurrent gifts. You should have a track record of successful major gift campaigns, strategic planning, and working towards targets and KPIs to foster a strong philanthropic culture.
