Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing Achieve Together, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3–6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a Head of Maintenance this role will be: KT22 7TW Hybrid 2/3 days office based + site visits.

The right candidate will:

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Achieve together s maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling and executing repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment.

  • Directing and mentoring a maintenance team, ensuring they are skilled, motivated, and capable.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient operations and minimise downtime.
  • Overseeing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Developing and managing the maintenance budget, including allocating resources, forecasting costs, and negotiating contracts.
  • Working with the Achieve together New Development Team ensuring that new–build properties comply with building regulations, accessibility specifications and health and safety requirements
We require the following:
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and executing preventative maintenance programs, as well as managing reactive repairs.
  • Experience in managing budgets, allocating resources, and supporting the Head of Procurement in negotiating contracts with vendors.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance standards related to maintenance activities.
