Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Head of Logistics is responsible for leading and managing all logistics and distribution operations to ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and reliable flow of goods within our Pick up & Drop off (PUDO) network. This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer delivery requirements are met and supporting the company’s strategic goals by driving improvements in supply chain performance, compliance, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound, internal, and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, materials handling, and inventory control.
- Ensure seamless delivery of picked products to customers and collection of customer returns.
- Lead routing, scheduling, and logistics planning in alignment with sales requirements.
- Ensure internal departments work collaboratively following procedures that support an efficient and high-quality service, routinely reviewing and adapting processes to suit the needs of the business.
- Oversee the management and efficiency of our PUDO network.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies that support business growth, cost optimisation, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to long-term supply chain planning, including capacity management, supplier collaboration, and sustainability initiatives.
- Implement process improvements, digital solutions, and automation opportunities within logistics operations.
- Drive cost efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including optimising routes, reducing waste, and enhancing supply chain resilience.
- Build working relationships with external stakeholders demonstrating our values to uphold the reputation of the business.
- Own logistics KPIs implementing action plans to remove potential risks from the business and seek out opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, quality, and health & safety standards for logistics and transportation.
- Produce and/or analyse business performance reports to make evidence-based decisions about resourcing, budget planning and capacity.
- Manage and develop logistics and transport teams, ensuring skills, performance, and engagement are aligned with business needs.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Be
- Experienced at a senior level in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment.
- Experienced in managing multi-site a business with ambition to grow, able to prove their success in driving costs efficiencies, service improvements and logistics performance through process improvements and innovation.
- Willing to travel to CHH and customer sites, including overnight stays when required.

- Able to show continued professional development in logistics, operational management or leadership.
- Able to use transport management systems.
- Knowledgeable in health and safety practices and requirements.

Desirable Skills
- CPC holder
- Degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering or business related discipline
- Background in continuous improvement and implementing best practices in logistics and supply chain
