Role

As the Head of Litigation, you will oversee all aspects of the firm’s litigation practice: managing a small team (1 Solicitor and 2 paralegals), handling complex cases, providing strategic direction, and ensuring high‑quality legal services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the litigation department, including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Handle a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, landlord & tenant disputes, contentious probate, contractual disputes, settlement agreements, civil litigation, and employment disputes.
• Stay abreast of developments in litigation law practice, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.

Candidate Profile

To be considered, you must be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years PQE and a proven track record of success in managing and leading a litigation team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently are essential.
