Job summary

Albyn School in Aberdeen is delighted to offer the opportunity to become Head of Faculty for Support for Learning. The role involves leading the department across the full school age range (Primary 1 to Senior 6) and working with pupils, teachers and support staff to raise attainment.

The successful candidate will have a background as a primary or secondary trained teacher and will support the values and aims of the school, including development of additional support for learning and inclusion.

Qualifications

• The role oversees a team of four staff (two teachers and two support assistants).
• Works with pupils across the full age range: Primary 1 to Senior 6.
• Open to candidates with primary or secondary teaching background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Faculty for Support for Learning and develop additional support for learning.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure inclusive education across the age range.
