Job summary

Retail Insights in London is seeking a Head of Learning and Development to drive the people growth strategy in a fast-paced startup environment. You will shape learning programs, coach leaders, and ensure programmes scale with our growth across Europe.

Based at our HQ next to Victoria Station, this role is office-based with no remote work. Start dates are flexible, and you will report to the CEO and founder as part of an entrepreneurial team driving measurable impact.

Retail Insights is part of United Media (https://www.united-media.com/) which focuses on building large scale industry media and conferences products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

• Building the most progressive learning and development opportunity for team members across levels of experience.
• Thinking progressively about how we can achieve our ambitious company goals through equipping our amazing employees with the right tools to achieve their goals.
• Developing and implementing strategic plans for learning and development, including identifying training needs and developing training programs to address them.
• Creating development programs that empower the team to continuously overdeliver and deliver 7-star experiences across business areas.
• Identifying and driving synergies across business functions.

What we expect from you

We are looking for experienced business managers to help us reach our objectives. Industry experience is not a requirement, but you do need to be highly ambitious, forward-thinking and driven to inspire and lead our team. Furthermore, having a UK work permit is also a requirement.
