Job description

As Head of IT Management, you will be a member of IT leadership team. You will be a member of IT leadership team. You will lead the effective and efficient management of the IT function. This role is the operational and governance backbone of the IT organisation, driving operational excellence, managing the IT financial planning cycle, overseeing the governance frameworks, assuring compliance and setting the overall direction of how IT performs the functions required to deliver the services within scope. What you'll do:

• Take responsibility for the design, adoption and management of IT governance via a governance framework, policies, procedures and standards.
• Be responsible for the design, adoption and management of IT Performance Monitoring: Define, track, and report on key operational and strategic IT metrics to the Director of IT and executive stakeholders.
• Support the Director of IT in identifying and delivering operational efficiency and process improvement including responsibility for delivery of change via projects and other methods.
• Be responsible for IT remaining compliant to any identified required certifications. This includes compliance to internal Skanska governance framework items and external compliance certifications, including assuring issue and risk management is being performed.
• Manage and take accountability for UK IT Cyber Security compliance.
• Hold accountability for every element of the management of our Defence customer specific IT environments operated for Skanska, delivered by Vendors.
• You will lead on the engagement with Global Cyber Security function. Aligning UK IT policies, procedures, processes and standards with Global equivalents. You will similarly communicate all UK specific requirements to the Global Cyber Security function and assure the understanding.
• Lead on IT Finance, Commercial, Contract, Vendor & Cost Management - Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and control IT budgets to optimise costs and efficiency. Includes vendor and contract management of Skanska Group Function IT.
  Proven leader with track record in IT Governance.
• Strong leadership experience managing managers and multidisciplinary teams
• Track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through Commercial practices and implementing change for Operational Efficiency.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and executive communication skills
• Experience with IT Financial Management, IT Cyber Security Management, Vendor Management, Governance, Risk in large organisations
• Experience in organisational change and process redesign
• Experience in management of vendor relationships.
• Experience in Integrated Service Management
