We’re partnering with a unique and nationally significant reinsurer to appoint a Head of Investments - a newly created, high-impact leadership role with real strategic influence.

With over £7bn AUM and a diversified portfolio spanning traditional asset managers (e.g. JP, BlackRock etc..) and venture capital allocations, this is a rare opportunity to shape the investment direction of a business that plays a critical role in the UK’s financial resilience.

About You

• A senior investment professional with experience in insurance, reinsurance, asset management, or institutional investing.
• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance is preferred, though a background in Life insurance is equally valued.
• Either a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a qualified actuary or equivalent
• Proven track record in portfolio strategy, manager oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
• Comfortable operating at board and executive level, with the credibility to shape long-term capital strategy.
