A leading global FMCG company in the UK seeks an experienced professional to establish a dedicated HSE function across several countries in EMEA. This role offers significant growth potential and the autonomy to shape HSE processes while fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Ideal candidates will have a background in operational site management and an ability to navigate different cultural contexts. Travel is expected to 30-40%.
A fantastic opportunity to come and build a HSE function for a well established global FMCG business, being responsible for operations across several countries throughout EMEA.
This newly created role is an opportunity to join a business who are rapidly growing, people centric and although they are a substantial size already, retain an entrepreneurial and agile nature to the way they do business. With HSE being spread out across various different functions of the business (HR, Operations, Supply Chain, Technical etc), the time is now right to bring in dedicated resource to build a HSE function from the ground up. The role will be really interesting - you will need to be hands on to begin with, building relationships with key stakeholders and really getting a good understanding of what works and what doesn't in terms of systems, processes and people. You will be able to build in the DNA of what HSE looks like across the region, with the sharing of best practice and integration, whilst still allowing for the nuances and particulars of each individual country. You'll get the chance to establish what the organisational design of the function looks like, and have high degrees of autonomy in decision making.
So why join?
If you have experience of a multi country remit in a product based business with operational sites, consider yourself to be a 'builder' of people, processes and systems and can bring HSE to life, then let's have a confidential discussion.
