Location: hybrid with minimum weekly presence requirements of 1-2 days in the office (Nuneaton or London) and 2-3 days onsite visits both stores across UK&I and distribution centre in Burton

In this high-impact role, you'll support our UK&I Retail network of 800+ stores and our Burton Distribution Centre, leading a team of HR Business Partners and shaping a culture where colleagues feel connected, empowered, and able to thrive. You'll work closely with our senior Retail and Supply Chain leaders to drive capability, performance, and colleague experience across 85% of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the People Plan for Retail & Supply Chain, driving performance, efficiency, and long‑term growth.
• Champion colleague experience, ensuring the voice of our teams shapes how we work.
• Build leadership capability and embed a culture of clarity, accountability, and high performance.
• Develop, coach, and empower a high‑performing HRBP team.
• Oversee complex ER activity and partner with HR Operations to simplify processes and enhance colleague experience.
• Support organisational design, workforce planning, and large‑scale transformation across retail and supply chain.

What You'll Bring

• Strong understanding of HR strategy, employment law, organisational design, and change management.
• Senior HR leadership experience in multi‑site, fast‑paced, specialist retail and/or supply chain environments.
• Proven understanding of engagement and culture frameworks, and how to translate colleague insight into business improvement.
• Proven success in leading high‑performing HRBP teams.
• A proven track record delivering engagement and cultural improvements at scale.
• Strong, hands‑on leadership: able to influence at senior level while rolling up your sleeves.
• Commercial awareness, resilience, great communication, and an action‑focused partnering style.
