PageGroup are delighted to partner with a successful manufacturing business based in North Nottinghamshire to appoint for a Head of HR to lead a small HR function - dealing with all operational and strategic people matters. Due to the nature of this sector, the role is fully office based.

Job Description

The role of Head of HR will play a pivotal part in the continued successful of this manufacturing business based in North Nottinghamshire. Partnering with Senior Management and Leadership you will take responsibility for all operational and strategic HR matters.

Including but not limited to:

  • Oversee a small HR team to deliver all operational HR matters including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations etc
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee development.
  • Support and guide managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision‑making.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support management and leadership to achieve commercial goals
  • Continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of HR should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Proven working knowledge of manufacturing or a similar commercial sector
  • You will be comfortable operating in a hands‑on, operational HR leadership role
