Job summary

A values-led organisation in the care sector is seeking a Head of HR & Training to drive strategic people initiatives and ensure compliance within a trauma-informed environment. The ideal candidate will have significant HR leadership experience, preferably within care or education sectors, and a CIPD Level 7 qualification. Location: Cheadle (with regional travel)
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent | Monday-Friday - OFFICE BASED due to nature of the role

We're working with a values‑led organisation in the care and education sector to find a strategic Head of HR and Training. This is a key leadership role driving people strategy, compliance, and workforce development in a trauma‑informed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead HR and training strategy aligned with organisational goals

  • Ensure compliance with care sector regulations and employment law
  • Lead workforce planning and leadership development
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent

  • Proven track record in ER, policy development, and talent management
  • Experience working at senior management level
