Job summary

A mixed multi-academy Trust in Gloucester is seeking a Head of HR to lead the human resource strategies aligned with its mission in education. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified and have a strong background in HR, preferably within the public sector. Responsibilities include developing HR functions and ensuring a supportive environment for staff. This role offers a competitive salary between £50,000 - £55,000 and a strong pension scheme.

About You

As Head of HR, you will lead, develop and implement the Trust’s human resource strategies in support of the overarching Strategic Business Plan. You will be responsible for fulfilling the Trust’s mission, vision and values to be an employer of choice: recruit, retain and develop our staff to create an environment in which they feel valued and cared for. You will be CIPD qualified with proven senior HR experience, demonstrating success in previous roles.

The Role

To be responsible for the development, leadership and continual improvement of the Trust’s HR functions and for steering these strategies to support organisational change and outcomes across the Schools.
