Job summary

Barchester-Healthcare is recruiting a Head of Housekeeping for one of our care homes in England. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, work hands‑on in daily cleaning, and ensure rooms and living spaces meet the highest standards.

The role requires strong leadership, immaculate attention to detail, and excellent communication with staff, residents and relatives. You will motivate the team and set an example of care and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital or hotel environment is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team and participate in day-to-day cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of housekeeping staff and participate in daily cleaning of the home.
• Ensure every room and living space is maintained to the highest standard.
