Head of History

A large secondary school based in Acton are looking for a Head of History to join their humanities department. The role is to start in April and is available on a long‑term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This is a full‑time position, and applicants should be confident leading a department and driving high standards across KS3‑KS5. Salary will be in line with Inner London MPS/UPS, plus a TLR for the responsibility. The school benefits from excellent transport links and on‑site parking.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the History department, ensuring high‑quality teaching and learning across all key stages.
