A leading laboratory services provider in Wolverhampton seeks a Head of Health and Safety to ensure a safe and efficient working environment across its various sites. Responsibilities include developing health and safety strategies, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. This role offers competitive benefits and a hybrid working model.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. This is a hybrid working role.
The successful candidate will need to be within a commutable distance to our Wolverhampton site ideally no more than 1 hour away for operational needs. We also require flexibility of the candidate to travel across the UK to our Eurofins sites dependent on business needs.
The role purpose for the Head of Health and Safety is to ensure a safe healthy and efficient working environment across all our Food and Water Testing sites. This role will also have some involvement with our Facilities department.
This leadership position involves strategic planning implementation and management of health safety and facility-related programs policies and initiatives.
The Head of Health and Safety is responsible for maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations enhancing workplace safety culture and optimising our site facilities.
