This is a permanent role offering between £40,000 - £45,000, perfect for someone with management experience who s ready to make a real difference. If you're someone who enjoys working across teams, developing innovative safety strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations, then this might be the perfect opportunity for you. As a key leader within the organisation, you'll be responsible for safeguarding the wellbeing of all employees while implementing the company's health, safety, and environmental policies. You ll work closely with senior management to maintain high standards, develop training programmes, and foster a culture of safety that everyone can get behind. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and update health and safety policies in line with local and national regulations
  • Engage with multiple sites to embed safety procedures and policies effectively

  • Organise and deliver training sessions (First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling) to ensure team safety and welfare
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents; develop measures to prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and test emergency plans and procedures
  • Support HR and managers with occupational health issues
  • Review risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
  • Work closely with the managing director to ensure safety strategies are rolled out effectively
