Job summary

Seckford Foundation in Woodbridge seeks an inspirational Head of Geography to lead the Geography Department across the Senior School, delivering Human and Physical Geography to A level and overseeing the NEA.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, promote academic excellence, and foster curiosity and enrichment within a warm, ambitious community that values outstanding teaching and pupil development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Geography department and strategic curriculum planning.
• Proven ability to teach Geography across the Senior School, including A level.
• Experience guiding the Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) in Geography.

As Head of Geography, you will teach across the full Geography curriculum and will have the expertise and confidence to teach both Human and especially Physical Geography to A level, together with experience of leading and overseeing the A level Non-Examined Assessment (NEA) component. You will lead and support colleagues in delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum, promote excellence in academic outcomes and co curricular provision, maintain high standards, and motivate pupils to fulfil their potential.
