Job summary

Stanton House partners with a high-growth PE-backed group to appoint a Head of FP&A in a Manchester/London hybrid setup. You will lead the build-out of the FP&A function, develop forecasting models and reporting infrastructure to support scaling and acquisitions.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and investors, delivering commercial insights, scenario planning and value-creation initiatives to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FP&A, commercial finance or related discipline with strong modelling and forecasting skills.
• Experience in PE-backed, high-growth or acquisitive environments; M&A exposure.
• Experience in a professional services environment is advantageous.
• Commercial, analytical and hands-on attitude with desire to build rather than maintain.

Stanton House is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed buy-and-build business on the appointment of a Head of FP&A at a genuinely exciting point in its growth journey.

The business has completed a number of acquisitions in recent months and is continuing to scale, creating an increasingly complex and dynamic environment.

This is not a role where you'll simply inherit an established FP&A function, you'll have the opportunity to build it.

As the group continues to grow both organically and through acquisition, you'll play a key role in developing the financial insight, modelling and performance infrastructure needed to support the next phase of the business.

What we're looking for

• A qualified accountant with 5+ years' experience across FP&A, commercial finance or a related discipline, with strong financial modelling, forecasting and business partnering experience.
• Experience within a PE-backed, high-growth or acquisitive environment would be highly advantageous, alongside exposure to M&A, integration and Board/investor reporting.
• Experience with a professional services environment
• Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is commercial, analytical and hands-on — someone who enjoys working in a changing environment and wants to build something rather than maintain the status quo.
