The Role

As the Head of FP&A you will lead an established value‑add Financial Planning & Analysis function. This is a broad highly commercial and visible role partnering with all departments in the business and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You’ll further embed a culture of data‑led decision making always looking for better ways to do things and provide insights that drive top and bottom‑line growth.

In this role you’ll get to :
  • Business partner other Heads of Department.
  • Proactively shape developments to our KPIs, Board reporting and Power BI reporting suite that align to our strategic goals.
  • Own the annual Budget process and quarterly forecast cycle.
  • Set annual sales targets in collaboration with demand planning.
  • Manage key R&Os and partner with the business to deliver mitigation plans.
  • Critically review business cases (new products, marketing investments etc.).
  • Provide decision support analysis e.g. modelling our global manufacturing strategy and competitor and market‑share insights.
  • Track integration savings and leverage best practice from BIC e.g. implementing RGM principles, data warehousing.
  • Manage, develop and coach a high‑performing team of 3.
  • Other ad hoc tasks dictated by business priorities.
What we are looking for in you :
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance (5 years).
  • Well‑rounded exposure ideally from a Retailer/FMCG/CPG background.
  • Proven track record as a trusted business partner owning an end‑to‑end P&L and leading forecast cycles.
  • Retail/product experience is essential and experience in a dynamic high‑growth environment is advantageous.
  • Proactive go‑getter with the gravitas and conviction necessary to lead the FP&A function.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Advanced Excel skills essential including building complex models.
  • Confident distilling data analysis into insights; Power BI experience is beneficial.
  • Strong communicator able to tell the story behind the numbers and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including the SLT.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organisational skills able to manage shifting priorities.
