We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Fire Safety. Above all, your remit will be to keep our customers safe. In this role you will be responsible for MTVH’s Fire Safety, and manage our internal FRAs and remedial process. This is a critical role where you will ensure MTVH is compliant with all relevant legislation relating to these services, and liaise closely with our Building Safety directorate where support is required for HRBs.
It is expected that you proactively keep MTVH up to date on best practice for fire safety, particularly around Fire Risk Assessments and associated remedial works, the changes in legislation in the fire sector, and ensure our fire safety service is fit for purpose.
You will be responsible for monitoring contract budgets and ensuring services are managed effectively, providing value for money and delivering the agreed services. You will work closely with appointed consultants who will provide support relating to statutory and regulatory compliance and technical expertise.
