Job summary

Talentedge are partnering with a fastest growing DeepTech company in London to appoint a Head of FinOps. You will lead day-to-day finance with AI at its core, collaborating with CFO and tax/treasury teams to scale the function in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment.

The role is based in London with 5 days per week in the office, supporting a high-growth hardware + AI business and implementing innovative financial controls across functions such as product and engineering.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with professional designation.
• Experience scaling a modern accounting function in a physical-product business (venture backed preferred).
• High-volume, multi-entity transactional finance experience.
• Established, credible business partner who can advise, challenge and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-focused finance processes and controls with Product, Engineering and the broader finance team.
• Oversee smooth month-end close process.
• Own multicurrency and multi-entity AP/AR functions.
• Scope and implement tools to enhance and automate the tech stack.
• Support Global Head of Tax with R&D claims.

Talentedge are partnering with one of the industry-leaders & fastest growing companies in this vertical on a newly created Head of FinOps opportunity, owing to continued explosive global scale.

Working closely with a superstar finance team (CFO / Head of Finance / Head of Tax / Head of Treasury / Head of FP&A), you will own the day-to-day finance function with AI very much at its' core.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with Product, Engineering & the wider finance function to build AI-focused processes and controls
• Ensure a smooth month end close process
• Have ownership over multicurrency and multi-entity AP and AR functions
• Scope out and implement various tools to further enhance and automate their tech stack
• Support Global Head of Tax with R&D claims

Profile:

• Qualified accountant
• Significant experience of scaling a modern accounting function within a physical-product based business (preference for venture backed)
• High volume, multi-entity transactional finance experience
• Established and credible business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence
