Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Head of Financial Services to lead a high quality financial services team, delivering statutory accounts and annual reporting. You will build strong relationships with auditors and drive improvements aligned with NHS frameworks.

The role requires CCAB qualifications, public sector leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of NHS financial planning and governance. Collaborative leadership and strategic vision are essential.

Job Overview

The Salisbury Finance Team is delighted to invite applications for the key leadership role of Head of Financial Services. This pivotal role is instrumental in the delivery of the statutory Annual Accounts, Charitable Accounts and Annual Report. You will also develop and maintain key relationships with our internal and external auditors, ensuring that appropriate financial controls and monitoring arrangements are in place. We are entering an exciting period for the Trust as a key partner within the new BSW Hospitals Group. The postholder will have a fantastic opportunity to play an instrumental role in shaping and influencing how Financial Services operates in the future, helping to drive development, collaboration and continuous improvement.

The post holder will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well co-ordinated financial services team capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements.
