Job summary

Michael Page Banking in London seeks a senior finance leader to oversee financial reporting, consolidation and governance across a complex international group. You will lead a finance team, strengthen reporting standards and drive process improvements with senior stakeholders.

This senior finance leadership role is responsible for financial reporting, control, consolidation and governance across a complex international group operating through multiple entities. The successful candidate will lead a finance team, strengthen reporting standards and provide insight to senior stakeholders while driving process and control improvements.

Description

• Lead an international financial reporting team and develop team capability.
• Own monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including consolidations and management reporting.
• Improve accounting governance, technical accounting standards and financial controls.
• Coordinate statutory reporting, audits and key accounting reviews.
• Drive finance transformation, systems improvements and process efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insight, challenge and business support.

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and financial control background.
• Experience within a multi-entity group environment, including consolidation and group reporting.
• Strong audit, statutory reporting and balance sheet control experience.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead teams through change.
• Experience operating within a SOX-compliant or SOX-readiness environment is desirable
• Oracle, regulated environment or international group experience would be advantageous.
